Have you ever wondered what leather looks like under a microscope? Well, this is what it looks like. This is a histological section of the skin of a B. taurus. Interestingly, there is a lot of dermis! We harvested a one-year-old steer, and Sydney, Nicole, Matteo, and Violet performed the paraffin preparation, H&E staining, and microscopy to share this image with you.
